Good Morning Printmakers!
Just giving you a friendly reminder that in about two weeks Monterey Peninsula College is offering a 2 day printmaking workshop! Here are the details:
Chine Colle with Evelyn Klein on Saturday November 5th- Sunday November 6th from 9am to 5pm.
Chine-collé is a special technique in printmaking, in which the image is transferred to a surface that is bonded to a heavier support in the printing process. One purpose is to allow the printmaker to print on a much more delicate surface, such as Japanese paper or linen, which pulls finer details off the plate.
If you are interested in taking this weekend workshop, you can go online to mpc.edu to apply and register for this class. It’s a great inexpensive way to create prints and learn more about printmaking! Have a nice print filled weekend!
