Hi everyone, this past Friday was Halloween and we celebrated with a special print club meeting–we held a print exchange! It is a fund raising event we do twice a year. This event raised about $400.00 for the club which is then used to fund scholarships, and provide printmaking supplies for printmaking classes at MPC. It is a terrific model and was lots of fun, besides.
Each participant donated a print and $10.00. Then the prints were exchanged via random selection (numbers drawn). We had a potluck luncheon, raffle of donated prints, costume contest (won by our Cheryl Sward as the mad printmaker) and dancing. A fine time was had by all!
